This is, without a doubt, the most in-depth Rotrex Supercharged 2ZZ-GE MR2 Spyder out there.

I hate to even list it, as it’s been my long time project for many years.  I’ve put a lot of money, sweat, and time into this car.  Unfortunately I just have way too many projects, and I’ve moved on to wheel to wheel racing.  I’d love to keep this rare car forever, but it just doesn’t make sense to let it sit idle.

The car is currently at DD Performance Research in Sealy, TX (just west of Houston.)  I’m sure Dave and gang would be happy to let you take a look at it or answer any questions about the great work they have done.  I’m listing it now to see if any TX folks are interested.  It’ll soon be brought back to South Carolina, so this is you limited chance to check it out if you are in the area.

I’m sure I’m missing quite a few items, this car has been built and rebuilt over several times.  All the recent engine work has been done by Dave and his team at DDPR in Texas.  They have also done the tuning on it.  It was on the track a couple of times before a broken valve necessitated a complete new engine and this time it was fully built (see above.)  Since then it has only been on the dyno and limited street tuning.  Previously it was making over 310hp to the wheels, all the way up to 8,600 rpm.  The car is very much a gokart on steroids.  It is ultra nimble with the power to match.  It’s also great looking.

Price: $14,000 – well under just the cost of parts in this car.
